EMPLOYER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
An eligible employer is required to:
  • Be a company employing 2 to 50 eligible employees. The majority of eligible employees must reside in the state the employer is domiciled in. Eligible Employees must work 17.5 hours (Oregon) or more per week. Temporary and Contracted (1099) employees are typically not eligible for health care coverage.
  • Contribute a minimum of 50% of the employee premium available to each enrolled employee.
  • Give ALL eligible employees the opportunity to enroll.
  • Have a minimum of 70% of all eligible employees enroll. Employees waiving for other coverage are not counted.
  • Cobra eligible should be given the opportunity enroll.
